Nicole Schalmo, a New York based actress, was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved with her family to San Bernardino, California when she was 8 years old. Nicole started taking acting classes at her local theatre, The Looking Glass Studio of Performing Arts. At the age of 13 she made her stage debut as Kanga in Winnie the Pooh and from that point forward she knew she had found her true passion for acting and the film industry. Due to an illness, Nicole's father passed away a short time after her 14th birthday and that loss only solidified her love of the art and the beauty of the world she was able to communicate through that art. After spending a short time auditioning for film and television in Los Angeles Nicole chose to focus her attention to theatre and moved to New York to attend Adelphi University where she later earned her bachelor's degree. After graduation Nicole went on a tour with Missoula Children's Theatre. For an entire year she toured the United States directing and performing in musicals with children age 5 to 18. Nicole has performed in several Off-Broadway shows, been featured in a series pilot and starred in multiple Independent Films. She is best known for her work as Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Anna (In Love In Misery) and Edna (Maybe It's You).
